About

Who am I?

I’m an embedded systems consultant based in Rouen. I also work in Paris and remotely.

After a two-year technical degree in electrical engineering and industrial computing (DUT GEII) at IUT de Rouen, I went on to ESGI on a work-study programme, first a bachelor’s then a master’s in Mobility and Connected Objects. My final thesis was on Rust Embedded.

I spent that work-study period at SNCF Réseau, in a product section specialising in IIoT remote monitoring of railway signalling. I built a complete remote monitoring platform there, hardware and software (Docker, Grafana, Rust, MQTT), and took part in the development of an industrial sensor for the axle counter system (CE-TL).

Since September 2025 I have been working as a freelance embedded systems consultant. The consulting page describes what I work on.

The blog

Posts cover my work and what interests me alongside it: embedded systems, EtherCAT, Yocto, STM32, Rust, servers and self-hosting.

The site is fully static, with no JavaScript and no trackers. It is built with Hugo and posts are written in AsciiDoc.
